NeutraDC Achieves ISO 14644-1 Class 8 Air Quality Standards: A Milestone for Excellence
12 Oct 2023
As a PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), we proudly announces the ISO 14644-1 Class 8 Air Quality Certification. This achievement reflects our steadfast commitment to ensuring a pristine and controlled environment within our state-of-the-art data center facilities. This certification underscores our dedication to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental control.
In the fast-paced world of evolving technology, handling vast amounts of data has become a daily necessity. Consequently, the demand for technologically advanced data centers is on the rise. As a prominent company in the digital center industry, NeutraDC recognizes the importance of operating our digital center in the most clean and controlled environment possible.
Alongside our technological standards, we are continually innovating to align with global standards and guidelines for cleanrooms and associated controlled environments. We embark on the process by acquiring ISO 14644-1 Class 8 Air Quality Standards certificate. This pivotal step sets the foundation for our commitment to excellence.
ISO 14644-1 Class 8 Air Quality Standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is part of the ISO 14644 series which provides standards and guidelines for cleanrooms and associated controlled environments. In particular, ISO 14644-1 specifies the classification of air cleanliness in terms of the concentration of airborne particles within such environments. The Process to obtain the ISO 14644-1 is though a rigorous certifications process, encompasses various aspects of our digital center operations. It evaluates not only our technological prowess but also our commitment to sustainability.
The benchmarks for ISO 14644-1 Class 8 would include specific limits for particle counts at different particle sizes. These limits ensure a certain level of air cleanliness. The Certification process has proven NeutraDC’s Data center is able to only allow a maximum particle count below the maximum specific limits at different particle sizes for ISO 14644-1 Class 8. The standard requires a data center to only allow a maximum of 3,520 particles per cubic meter of air with a particle size of 0.5 and 29,300 particles per cubic meter of air with a particle size of 5.0 micrometers and larger.
It is our goal and duty to ensure the optimal performance and durability of the data center equipment. This commitment guarantees that our servers and infrastructure operate within an environment that significantly reduces the risk of failures due to contamination. Beyond optimizing equipment performance, a clean and controlled environment is conducive to energy efficiency.
By mitigating the potential disruptions caused by contamination, we not only minimize downtime but also reduce energy consumption. Our team has also established stringent quality control measures to continually monitor and maintain air quality. It acts as a testament to our client that we prioritize their data's integrity and security.
We understand that the journey to certification is not just about earning a badge; it's about setting the stage for sustainable success in the digital center industry. We believe that this commitment will not only benefit our business but also contribute positively to the broader global technology ecosystem. By starting with certification, we embark on a path that aligns with our values and positions us as a leader in providing reliable and sustainable data center solutions.
