Pasuruan, East Java – PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), a data center company and a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), has demonstrated its commitment to supporting education by providing a technology grant to non-formal educational institutions (Pasraman) and kindergartens. The initiative, titled "Pijar Teknologi untuk Pendidikan Anak-anak Suku Tengger" (A Spark of Technology for Tengger Children’s Education), took place in Ngadiwono Village, Tosari Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency, East Java.

The donation included presentation equipment such as laptops, projectors, and printers, all aimed at enhancing the quality of the teaching and learning process for Tengger children in the Mount Bromo area.

Andreuw Th.A.F, CEO of NeutraDC, emphasized the importance of technology access for children in rural areas. “We want to provide multimedia tools to improve teaching methods and communication. Teachers can more easily introduce knowledge through advanced methods, making learning more exciting for the children,” said Andreuw.

This initiative is part of NeutraDC’s third anniversary celebrations held in March. Through the Two Hands Hub program, NeutraDC is committed to promoting equal technological development, even in remote areas. “We believe that technology should be accessible to all layers of society, including rural communities. With the support of technology, we hope to empower local communities to thrive in the digital era,” Andreuw added.

Pasraman, a non-formal educational institution that teaches Hinduism, has long faced limitations in its facilities. Nita Agustina, one of the teachers at the Pasraman, shared the challenge of having only one classroom, rotated among kindergarten, early childhood education (PAUD), and grades 1 through 6. “We have been serving without any compensation or financial support. With this technological assistance, we hope to provide better and more engaging learning for the children,” said Nita.

One of the students, Riska Kartika Sari, also expressed her excitement. “With this equipment, we can learn while watching videos about respecting our parents and Sang Hyang Widi. So, we can see and directly practice what we learn,” said Riska.

The Two Hands Hub program is NeutraDC’s initiative to support local communities through technology. Previously, the program has also provided AI technology training to MSMEs in Mandalika and Bali, helping them improve their competitiveness in the digital age.

Through this technology grant, NeutraDC hopes to bring a positive impact on the education of Tengger children in the Bromo area and to promote equitable access to technology throughout Indonesia.
